Earlier today, KCDOA, with our partner sponsors, joined Camp Hamilton in honoring veterans as part of their annual Memorial Day event. For the past 3 years, KCDOA (specifically Sgt. Todd Dearmore) has organized the meal that is served to the vets and others in attendance.

The food that fed the crowd of nearly 300 was provided by several non-profit groups. “Detentions deputies along with Trinity Food Services and Valley Bible Fellowship donate money and product and we provide food for the veterans,” said Todd Dearmore of the Kern County Detention Officers Association.
