On Saturday December 11th, KCDOA members spent the day with the wards at Camp Owen in Kernville. In addition to supplying and barbequing the lunch meal, KCDOA donated funds so that the facility could purchase some new sporting equipment. During the lunch meal, KCDOA members sat with the wards, offering advice and answering questions. Later in the day, several members played a marathon basketball game against the wards… The wards had ample energy (and extra players), but the older KCDOA members managed to pull out a victory. Special thanks goes to Director Dearmore for spearheading and organizing the day which will hopefully become an annual event. Additionally, the following people participated: T. Leal, S. Ayon, J.
