The KCDOA grievance regarding (2010) holiday pay was recently resolved resulting in a settlement agreement between KCDOA and the County. Many members who were assigned to squads 1 or 3 during the last holiday season are likely to see a ‘retro pay’ amount added to payroll deposits slated for Tuesday, August 9. The amounts vary (most range between $100 and $400) and were based on each individual’s work schedule in relation to the actual and/or designated holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Eves.
