Established in 2005, the Kern County Detention Officers Association was formed when Detention Deputies chose to create their own law enforcement specific group for representation in legal defense and labor relations. KCDOA is affiliated with the California Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 3). Members are always welcome to attend and encouraged to participate in all association functions.
